Ramaswami Reboot

A long time ago, I started up this blog for my Sims 2 games and stories. Now due to a few computer issues, the game doesn't run as well as it did, so I only have a few expansion packs installed. I shall note when I am adding a new one, I am currently running with;

- Base game
- Seasons
- University
- Pets
- Mansion & Garden Stuff

I have moved in all but the Crittur family as I don't know what to do with them yet.

I decided to play as the Ramaswami family. They are a recently married Indian couple, who both have the Popularity aspiration, which I don't really like to do, so it's a challenge for me.




Priya is a journalist, and started off as a Fact Checker. Her lifetime want is to reach the top of this career, and she needs a good few friends to do this. Fittingly her aspiration helps with this. She made good friends with Alvin Futa when he passed by. Then she was too busy fact checking at work, so made a mistake and was demoted down two jobs to a Blog Writer, but she's made new friends in Darren Dreamer and Amy Jones, the paper girl and has been promoted back up. She WooHooed with her new husband a few times, and has been practicing in the mirror to get her charisma up.




Sanjay starts off as a Coffee Shop Sound Engineer, wanting to become a Rock God at the height of his career. He wants to be popular too, and made fast friends with Amy Jones, Mortimer Goth and Randy London. He's also started to chat with the post woman, Dagmar Bertino, but they're still only acquaintances. Autumn soon rolled around and the energy saving items were put into place, with wind turbines about and some nice statues too just because they had some spare simoleons. Sanjay got himself promoted up to a Battle of the Bands Judge, and is well on his way with his career.

There were some lightning storms in the autumn which set some statues on fire, but it was fine. They also threw a New Year's Bash, which Amy and Dagmar attended (in their uniforms, which was odd) as did an old man called Father Time, who transformed into Toddler New Year at 12am, and then faded away.

Priya wants to have a baby, but I think it will wait a bit, until they have enough money to expand their bungalow and perhaps have an upstairs. Another thing is that children don't really like parties, and Popularity Sims do, so that's a difficult one.
